Maybe it&#8217;s the secret identities, or the way things tend to happen at night.  Jonathan Lethem brought out a piece of it in his novel <i><a target=\"_new\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/0571219357?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=graffiarchae-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325&#038;creativeASIN=0571219357\">The Fortress of Solitude<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=graffiarchae-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=0571219357\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" style=\"border:none !important; margin:0px !important;\" \/><\/i>, which is really worth reading.  Now there&#8217;s a group of animators approaching the same idea from another angle: a hiphop\/anime hero who can absorb energy from graffiti walls, and use the style to fight his enemies.
