Valencia Art Wall: down but not out
November 20, 2025 on 1:48 pm | In local news, stories and history | No CommentsI must have walked by this wall hundreds of times when I lived in the Mission in the early 2000s, but I rarely took photos of it. My focus at the time was more on graffiti than street art, it was far too detailed for the internet of the day (Graffiti Archaeology had a maximum size of 2,400 pixels due to some limitation in Flash) and it was so frequently updated that documenting it would have been a full-time job. But here are a few flicks I snapped in 2008, not long after it was hit hard by Shepard Fairey:
I have no doubt that the wall will bounce back to its former glory.
